Quality Management System

An Operational Systems Manual (OSM) provides discipline across the company to monitor all issues relating to health, safety, environment, quality and risk. All information is captured by the OSM under a single auditable and functional management system. It ensures there are common procedures, processes and personnel in place to effectively manage and control health, safety and environmental (HSE) risks within the workplace.

Benchmarked against ISO 9001, ISO 4801 and ISO 14000, the OSM is based on the following processes:

  • Identifying, assessing and controlling HSE risks and issues
  • Setting objectives and targets to address the identified risks and issues
  • Ongoing training to maintain and reinforce awareness of the identified risks and issues

The application is an important management tool that assists with identifying, assessing and reporting all potential risk-related outcomes fundamental to the company's business. It assists management to identify where to provide additional resources to combat risks through interrogation of the system.
