FT Services partners with Alberta Ecotrust

In 2009, FT Services joined Alberta Ecotrust as a visionary partner to help create long-term environmental benefits for Alberta communities.

"We chose to support Alberta Ecotrust for the combined expertise of the partners in assessing environmental projects, its ability to fund a larger number of initiatives, and its reach into many communities across the province," states Andy Mackintosh, President and CEO, FT Services. "The environmental pillar of sustainability is important for FT Services, and we want to contribute to the well-being of the people in communities where we operate. We also look forward to building relationships with industry peers and environmental groups at the Ecotrust table and participating in a valuable process to improve Alberta's environment", adds Mackintosh.

LEED 

FT Services is aware of our contribution not only to our industry sectors, but also our community and environment. With this in mind we chose to implement a program for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for our new office premises. This process involves six categories. They are as follows:
